Scarf as a Fashion Accessory

Thursday, October 30, 2008

Recently, I'm fascinated to a fashionable yuppie that I had encountered somewhere in Makati. She was wearing a stylish scarf tied around her neck. The scarf blends well with her preppy outfit. The boho scarf added an instant style to her over all look. Since then, I appreciate scarf as a fashion accessory, not to mention the warmth it gives once wear in a cold place.

Given that I’m snooping and envying, I searched for the stores that sell boho scarfs and one of the famous fashion clothing lines is the Top Shop. I learned that you can also buy boho scarf in “tiangge” for a much cheaper price (for me price is a big deal).

I’m pretty-much excited in upcoming cold months, I will get my own boho or silky scarf and wear it at work.

“Town Hell”

Tuesday, October 28, 2008

Last Oct 24, we had our Town hall (Town Hell), a monthly gathering of all employees of our company, but at this time we were dressed like witches, vampires, goblins, zombies and the like.

I had hard times opting what to portray, at first I want to be a bitchy witch lady, but I ended up as a sexy seductress vampire. I had my vintage black see-thru dress, a gray wig, a black stockings and pair of black stilettos.

Black liquid eye liner and smoky eye shadow added more life to my over all drama, while bloody sexy red lipstick made me more seductive (diba? dapat creepy...)

Thanks to the following:

Ukay- Ukay - for my vintage outfit
Toy Kingdom - for my wig P 200
Mac Lipstick
Shayne - for her eye shadows and eye liners (visit her blog: Fashion-Flick)

Halloween Party Fever

Thursday, October 16, 2008

Halloween party is about to come, I’m pretty much excited. I’m not sure what to portray.

I wanna look like a bitchy, sexy witch…

And yet confuse if I want to be a sophisticated vampire chic…

But of course I don’t want to be an effortless mummy who just wrapped her/himself….

My problem is I don’t have the guts to wear those fancy Halloween costumes, and part of that fab head-turner costume is the budget for the dress up to the last accessories and make up. I don’t wanna look over dressed. I would like to be simple and safe, yet passed the requirements of the Halloween party dress code.

I’m now in the middle of choosing what to wear and what to portray… I’ll keep you posted… =P

Fashion for Pregnant Women

Pregnancy is not easy. Aside from emotional adjustment, it is considered as the hardest time for fashion since it involves physical transformation. The majority of pregnant women feel anxious, mostly during the first quarter of their pregnancy. They can’t wear their existing clothes for 9 months, so they need a new set of wardrobe.

Worry no more! Pregnant women can still go for fashion even during their pregnancy. Below are some dresses that can be worn as a maternity dress, most of them are available online.
