Unveiling of Ipanema Gisele Bundchen Seeds Collection

Some of fashion savvy bloggers witnessed the unveiling of the newest Ipanema Collection, The Ipanema Gisele Bundchen Seeds Collection. The said event was held at Le Soufflé (The Fort) last February 19, 2009.

Mr. Francisco Patxi Elizalde, Managing Director of ELRO gave a short opening spiel regarding the Ipanema GB Seeds Collection and shared their corporate responsibility about protecting our environment. ELRO Corporation, the exclusive distributor of Ipanema here in the Philippines in partnership with Haribon Foundation take a green stride by letting people know their Advocacy. They're organizing a Walkathon for the benefits of the Philippine Rainforests. The much awaited event is called “Walk the Green Mile” which will be held at The Fort also, in front of the Le Soufflé on March 21, 2009.

After the short spiel of Mr. Elizalde was an Audio Visual Presentation of Gisele Bundchen, a famous Brazilian fashion icon, a well-known environmentalist and “The World's Top-Earning Model”. It was followed by a heart-stopping performance of Philippine Ballet Theater. They were all wearing Ipanema's latest collection while dancing. The lights played the big role in making the show glamorous and eye-popping, kudos to the light director! Raffle draw was at the latter part of the event, same as the photo op with Mr. Patxi Elizalde.

Le Soufflé has a touch of elegance. The interior design of Le Soufflé manifest an aristocratic flair. The dishes were so delectable, oh so yummy! It was a buffet style that triggered me to pigged out! My ravenous appetite made me so glutton.

I love meeting people during events, networking! It was a great place to create connection. I must say there was a lucky table that night. Thank God I'm in! Most of the winners came from our group. It was so amazing how we destined to meet.

Just a Glimpse of Sassa's Summer Collection Fashion Show

Finally, Sassa Activewear unveiled their 2009 Summer Collection that was held at Aquaknox Restaurant in Makati City last February 17, 2009.

The event started with a bunch of tête-à-tête, beso-beso and photo op with other bloggers and media folks. Most of the guests enjoyed the cocktail drinks while waiting for the fashion show to begin.

Eri Neeman hosted the event, while Ms. Rossana Lammoglia Unson, the Marketing Manager of New Barbizon Fashion, Inc officially introduced and unveiled the 2009 Summer Collection with a short opening spiel, followed by a trendy, stylish swim wear fashion show of Sassa Activewear.

The Sassa’s Summer Collection is designed by Ms. Gertie Hermanos. The Summer Collection comprises of swimsuits, board shorts, rash guards, bikini tops, bikini bottoms, typical bikinis, tank tops and sexy one-piece swimsuits. In short, whatever summer wardrobe needs, Sassa’s collection has it.

Summer vacation is so close, most of us are already saving dates for summer trips. Since summer is hot, people are heading to the beach.

Who doesn't want to feel the cool gentle breeze? Who doesn't want to walk on a white sands?... All of us need some break, and summer is the perfect time to unwind and to free ourselves from stress.

Chic Lit

I love to read chic lit especially when it makes me feel "that is so me" story.

One of my favorite authors is Sophie Kinsella... Oh, I really heart her books such as confession of a shopaholic series, I find it hilarious and entertaining. She touches the soft side of female, like me, a real fan of chic lit.

I love chic lit because I can understand it easily by just scanning the pages. No more nose-bleed moments for words, slangs and idiomatic expressions. In addition, most of the stories are light and entertaining.

I just bought "Can you keep a secret" at Powerbooks, It never fails to make me laugh! The story is so funny. I want to read it from cover to cover as soon as possible!

I got it for 199 pesos only since I have a 100 pesos worth of discount card.

Tea Party for Fashion and Beauty Bloggers

Heya! I was invited to join an afternoon tea party for fashion and beauty bloggers. It will be held on Feb 21, 2009 in a private place somewhere in Makati City.

What I want for Valentines

Season of love again... Oh Valentines! (so what?)


I still don't wanna go on a date even if I have my special someone. I want to avoid traffic, chaos and stress.


All I want is to pig out on chocolates and get a sexy lingerie. I already told my boy not to give me a bouquet of flowers, it's not practical at all and I wouldn't appreciate it anyways.

Summertime is coming...

The heat is on ladies!

Once again summertime is coming. I'm already itching about our Boracay plans.

I find it hard planning for a long trip, regarding accommodation, airfares and shuttle arrangement. How I wish there is somebody that can do all of this for free (sana may friend din akong kagaya ni Djong).

But the hardest of all is getting rid of my belly.

(Deep sigh...)

I'm skinny, but yeah I have belly (beer belly). I don't know how to get rid of this ugly and unwanted fats. Oatmeal diet is my drama, oatmeal in the morning, oatmeal at night, but starvation is not a good idea, it's killing me. Now, I'm planning to have a little bit of everything and sit ups too.

I have an apple shape type of body, I can emphasize my well-molded cup – B front (hehehe), but I'm sooo not blessed with sexy hips. Now, my big dilemma is where to find the best bikini cut for me. I wish I could find stripes boyleg bikinis and a cute board shorts. Why stripes? Because it creates an illusion, it widened my hips a little bit more.

In addition to this crazy plans, is getting rid of my keloid scars on my belly, in this case I need to go to my derma to avail some injection (Memories of my chickenpox days last summer).

I heart summer and beaches, but it cause a lot of stress.

How can I get rid of this thoughts for a while?

Bad Hair Days!

Oh crap, my hair is so unmanageable. I'm suffering from the curse of having ugly-natural-hair. Sigh!

This coming February, I'm planning to get my hair rebonded once again. I'm considering Tony and Jackey to execute the procedure, since I had known some of their satisfied clients, I wanna try it for myself too.

Rebonding procedure is such a pain in the ass, it took 6 to 8 hours, not to mention that you can't wash your hair for about 2 days. That idea makes me sick!
