Pilates after Pregnancy


Losing weight is what most preggies want right after giving birth, and I'm one of them.

During my pregnancy all I did was to eat what I want, I didn't think about diet at all. But in my dismay right after giving birth, my tummy was still big, like when I'm on my 6th month. I don't know what to do, I have to wait until my bleeding stops, and my OB said it will vanish soon when my uterus gets back to its normal size. I waited till I get bored and that was the time I decided to do something, of course with my OB-Gyne's permission.

Aside from the traditional HILOT which I honored it really helped me in getting back in my old shape I tried the PILATES. I find Pilates as an easy way of losing weight, toning muscles and flatten my tummy. I also find it convenient because I can do it in my bed even if I'm with my baby.

Now I know I'm on the right track, its been two months since I gave birth and most of my friends told me it seems I didn't get pregnant. I will continue Pilates that is for sure.
